Introducing CALENDULA PROTECT CREAM, a new essential made with calendula grown amid the rich nature and sea breezes of Awaji Island.
Long used in skincare, calendula is a plant known for its ability to help keep dry or stressed skin in good condition — sometimes called the "guardian of the skin".

Calendula oil, extracted from its vivid orange petals, is combined with Butterbur and linseed oil. Together, they wrap skin prone to dryness and external stressors in a veil of moisture, helping to restore a healthy-looking complexion.

Calendula / Hirota Farm (Awaji Island, Hyogo)

Calendula has long been cherished as a protective herb, valued for caring for sensitive and delicate skin. At Hirota Farm, a rare native variety called Muraji is grown as an edible flower, without the use of pesticides. Nurtured by the long hours of sunshine unique to Awaji Island, mineral-rich soil carried in from the sea, and a gentle climate that is kind to plants, the calendula blooms into large flowers exceeding 10cm in diameter, with a vivid orange colour that is truly striking. In SHIRO products, we use not only the beautiful petals, but also the calyxes — nothing is wasted.

How to use

After applying toner and serum, take an appropriate amount and smooth over the entire face. For areas prone to dryness, apply an additional layer as needed.

Using 2 pumps morning and evening, one bottle lasts approximately 2 months. As calendula is a member of the daisy (Asteraceae) family, those with an allergy to plants in this family should consult a doctor before use.
